Cheaptubeaudio has had a long history of advocating reasonably priced but excellent tube gears, particularly Singled-Ended Triodes. This Blog however covers a lot more than SET, and is not exclusively tube-related. Cheaptubeaudio prioritizes coverage of unusual and rare gears, particularly vintage ones, on which little info can be found on the internet.

What would you mix with my Graham LS 5/8 and VPI Prime turntable?
Power Amp:1) Mark Levinson 20.5 or .6; 2) Mark Levinson 23; 3) Nagra Classic Amp; 4) Doshi JHor mono blocks; 5) Any ARC
Unless you already have them, I'd skip the ML's. If you have them, use them with a tube preamp. Ditto the Nagra. As for the Doshi, I doubt they are worth the very high price. If you can source an old ARC amp in good condition, they are great. I particularly like the Classic 30 and Classic 60, which should be excellent match for your LS5/8 (which doesn't need that much power).
Preamp: 1) Nagra PLP; 2) ARC SP-9,10,11 or 15
The Nagra PLP is excellent. For the ARC listed I'd skip the mostly transistor SP-15. The SP9 and SP11 are hybrids, very slightly on the lean side. The SP10 has to be tubed carefully.
INT Amp:1) Nagra INT
I'd go separates so as to have at least some tube in the playback chain.
Phono stage: 1) Nagra VPS; 2) Parasound JC+; 3) Manley chinook; 4)Any EAR or ARC
All are good phonoamps. For a tubed phonoamp I'd pick a tubed EAR, like the workhorse 834P, over the Chinook (the Steelhead may be a different story).
I listen to from ABBA to Zappa ....pop, rock, electronic, acoustic, jazz and a little classic. I like a dynamic sound, big but detailed soundstage.
